Clark Kent (Tom Welling) facing on of his famoust villians from the comic book world in Smallville’s second episode in its ninth season. See the transition John Corben tuning into Metallo who has a vendetta on Clark Kent’s alter ego ‘The Blur’. The official description says:

BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN (”TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES”) CONTINUES ROLE AS JOHN CORBEN — After being struck by a truck, John Corben (guest star Brian Austin Green) wakes up alone in an abandoned apartment as a man-machine with a Kryptonite heart. Corben realizes he now has superhuman strength and sets out to exact revenge on the Red-Blue Blur, who he perceives to be an irresponsible vigilante. Against Clark’s (Tom Welling) wishes, Lois (Erica Durance) involves herself in the Red-Blue Blur’s investigation, and winds up getting kidnapped by Corben. Marizee Almas directed the episode written by Don Whitehead & Holly Henderson (#3X5252).

TheCW released the first episode stills for episode 9.04 ‘Echo’ which premieres October 16th at 8/7c on theCW.

Tom Welling aka Clark Kent is featured in three pictures so far. One picture you see him only, another one with Oliver and another one with Toyman.

TheCW released a preview clip for the upcoming Smallville season which starts this Friday at 8/7c on theCW.

The clip featured Tom Welling as Clark Kent, Erica Durance as Lois Lane, Justin Hartley as Oliver Queen and Monique Ganderton as Alia. You find them collide in an underground fight club. The Superman S emblem finds also his way in this clip.

TheCW has released the official episode description for Smallville’s third episode of season nine which airs Friday October 9th at 8/7c on theCW.

The description features Clark Kent (Tom Welling), Zod (Callum Blue), Lois Lane (Erica Durance) and Chloe Sullivan (Allison Mack). It deals that Clark is Metropolis’ hope for one of their current problems which has something to do with Zod.

Smallville did a real location filming in Vancouver for the upcoming season which starts Friday September 25th at 8/7c on theCW. It’s not approved which episode it is but it should be around episode ‘Roulette’ or  ‘Crossfire’.

TV Guide Magazine had the chance to interview Tom Welling during San Diego Comic Con 2009. They talked about season nine, why he has renewed his contract, his new job in the Smallville team, Clark’s relationship with Jor-El, the famous triangle Clark/Lois/Superman and a lot more. Here is a sneak peak what he said.

TVGuide Magazine: You’ve added producing duties this year. How does that change your role on the show?
Tom Welling: When I started Smallville obviously I hadn’t done much acting. My goal was to learn everything I could. And along that road I just needed to learn everything about everything and then use that to make the show better.… There’s no bitterness or dark side when I say this, but I think I’ve been contributing as a producer for more than a few years. [Welling has directed several episodes of the series.] The title is the title, nothing changes for us in production. I don’t know if much has changed as what I bring to the table, but I do know that now I have [more] access… I’ve always tried to be open and collaborative and make the show better. I guess in the end one thing that has really changed is that there’s a lot more paperwork that comes to me! Now I literally have a stack of memos like this at the end of every day.

Tom Welling returns on our screens with Smallville’s season nine premiere 9.01 ‘Savior’ which premieres Friday September 25th at 8/7c on theCW. Besides he will playing the character of Clark Kent, he will direct two episodes and he is co-executive producer this year.

The first Smallville episode stills of its ninth season which included Tom Welling has become online. You can see him wearing his new hero outfit. It’s from one of the first two episodes. More photos should come later.

Smallville returns with its season nine premiere  called ‘Savior’ on Friday September 25th at 8/7c on theCW. Fridays 8/7c is the new timeslot for watching new Smallville episodes and see Tom Wellng as Clark Kent in action.

DevotedToTomWelling.com staff member JayPat was lucky on his last day to catch a scene. We posted earlier photos where Tom visits an addition to the set which comes into in the play in this scene which JayPat catched.

This scene is an action packed scene. You will see Tom Welling as Clark Kent saving Lois Lane played by Erica Durance. He could also caught parts of the dialogue.
