The Saban Free Clinic’s 17th annual Golf Classic on Tuesday honored Lionsgate Motion Picture Group co-chairman Rob Friedman as it raised more than $308,000 for the medical facility.
Among those in the industry taking part in the tournament on a spectacularly sunny day at the El Caballero Country Club in Tarzana were producer David Friendly, Smallville star Tom Welling, Friedman’s fellow Lionsgate execs Steve Beeks and Ron Schwartz and teams representing Warner Bros., UTA, Frontline Management, HBO, Loeb & Loeb and The Hollywood Reporter, which served as the event’s exclusive media sponsor.
