Tom Welling in rumored Smallville movie?

Sounds unbelievable, right? Well not according the latest rumor coming from aintitcool.com. Though there is no official confirmation and it can always be proved a false alert, the rumor has it that Warner Bros. are preparing a movie-length Smallville-related project under the name ‘Metropolis’ which should be announced at Comic Con.

Is there any truth in this rumor and, if yes, will Tom star in it? Have patience, we shall know soon.
