Tom Welling will direct his second episode of this season which will be episode Booster. Writer of the episode, Geoff Johns, shared the following on twitter:

“Start production meetings with Tom Welling and team tomorrow for the BOOSTER episode of Smallville. : )”

It’s the second time Welling and Johns teaming up for an episode. They also teamed up for the second hour of last year’s episode ‘Absolute Justice’. ‘Booster’ will be Tom’s seventh directed Smallville episode. He also directed episode Patriot earlier this season.
